Steven Stamkos Says He Isn’t Going ANYWHERE - “I Want to Win Again”

In an EXCLUSIVE interview for @Line Movement Steven Stamkos tells Nick Kypreos that he “doesn’t see himself going anywhere” and that he “wants to win again” in Tampa Bay.

They dive into how much it means to Stammer to be a part of the Tampa Bay Lightning and how a unique Stanley Cup celebration may actually have been a blessing in disguise. Of course, the amazing goal that was scored in his appearance in the finals was a key topic of conversation. “My big argument the whole time getting back in the lineup was I just needed one shot.” Some great stories ensue from the celebration, including an amazing Wayne Gretzky facetime in the locker room, and naturally, the boat parade days later in Tampa Bay.

It was reported that there were “4 untouchables” on Tampa Bay and Stamkos' name was not on that list as the Lightning navigate the salary cap in a quick offseason. The Lightning captain made it very clear that expects to be back to defend their crown in 2021.
