FC Bayern Munich vs. Atlético: Extended Highlights | UCL on CBS Sports

The day’s marquee matchup started off with a bang thanks in part to a wonderfully placed pass. In the 28’ Bayern scored the opening goal with a perfectly timed run into the area by Kingsley Coman, Joshua Kimmich was able to find the 24-year-old’s left foot who placed the ball perfectly inside the far post with his right. Bayern has now scored in 58 of their last 59 matches. Bayern was able to double its lead in the 41’ by way of a Leon Goretzka goal.

The second half started perfectly for Atletico, putting the ball into the back of the net in the 47’ but Luis Suárez was slightly offside, which VAR confirmed, bringing back the goal. From there Bayern took complete control of the match scoring goals in the 66’ and 72’ by Corentin Tolisso and Coman to secure the 4-0 win.
