Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich before Monday's transfer deadline. Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has decided he doesn’t want to leave Stamford Bridge for Bayern Munich before Monday’s transfer deadline, it has been claimed. The England international has struggled for form since Frank Lampard’s appointment as Maurizio Sarri’s successor. However, he now looks set to stay in west London. Hudson-Odoi impressed on Saturday as Chelsea boosted their hopes of Premier League title glory with a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday. However, despite that, talk has been rife that the England international may leave Stamford Bridge for Bayern Munich before Monday’s transfer deadline. Bayern wanted to sign Hudson-Odoi a year ago but missed out and, despite landing Leroy Sane, still have interest in the 19-year-old. Yet journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed the teenager doesn’t want to leave.
“Hudson-Odoi has *never* reached an agreement with Bayern,” Romano tweeted. However, in a separate tweet, Romano has claimed Bayern have now given up on the Chelsea star and are eyeing Marseille star Bouna Sarr instead. “Both Chelsea and Bayern München considering Callum Hudson-Odoi deal OFF,” he said. “No agreement on loan with buy option, the player doesn’t want to leave, Lampard counts on him. Confirmed. He’s staying.
Chelsea have been linked with a late bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey. The Guardian claims the Ghana international could make a surprise switch to Stamford Bridge on deadline day. Partey has been an Arsenal target throughout the transfer window, but has been identified as a possible alternative to Declan Rice for Chelsea.
