The Dallas Mavericks lost in the first round of the 2020 NBA Playoffs after putting up a great fight against the favored Los Angeles Clippers. Luka Doncic had a record-breaking ending to an historic sophomore season. Kristaps Porzingis was injured and Luka played like an MVP. The teams 18th ranked defense needs to improve and so does their toughness - the latter was highlighted when Marcus Morris Sr. was able to bully Doncic on several occasions. The Mavericks offseason will be interesting because they will make every move with an eye on 2021 when they can open up a max salary spot. Next summer there will be plenty of opportunity to create a Dallas Mavericks Superteam and a Dallas Mavericks Big 3 by adding Giannis Antetokounmpo, Paul George, Victor Oladipo or others. This video talks about the perfect Mavericks offseason plan including Mavericks draft, Mavericks trades and Mavericks free agent targets.
