Big Ben and the Steelers are coming off a surprising upset of the Colts in the Divisional Round, as they travel to Denver to take on Jake Plummer and the Broncos, fresh off a win over the two-time defending champ Patriots, to decide the AFC representative in Super Bowl 40.

  1. The 2005 Steelers were a 15-1 team the year prior. People are fooled by their wildcard status, but this was a damn good team who had to deal with losing Ben for three games in the middle of the season.

  2. Bill Cowher's strength as a coach is his ability to let his assistants do their job and his belief in the players. A good leader is someone who brings others who have a similar mindset to theirs then he/she lets them do what they do best. Pittsburgh Steelers are a model organization for how a business should be run in sports and in the business world. Only three coaches since 1969 say a lot, and two of them are in the NFL HOF..
