Chicago Bears | 2020 NFL Draft Recap

In what is a pivotal year for GM Ryan Pace the Chicao Bears 2020 NFL Draft Class will have to not only contribute immediately but exceed rookie-year expectations if the Bears are to make a deep playoff run this upcoming season. The Couch Potato General Manager trio evaluates each prospect in their Chicago Bears Draft Recap. Chiago continues to attempt to solve the riddle of the tight end position using their first of two second round picks on Cole Kmet out of Notre Dame. The Bears followed up that pick with cornerback Jaylon Johnson out of Utah, an excellent value pick as Couch Potato GM considered Johnson a first round talent. A trio of 5ht round selections in: Trevis Gipson, Kindle Vildor and Darnell Mooney figure to play significant roles in 2020 as well and could represent the key to this draft class' success. While it wasn't a "sexy"draft, the bears a middle of the pack draft gradde isn't out of the question for the Bears considering their lack of 1st round selection per the Khalil Mack deal.
