  1. Also, the idea that the pocket passer is extinct is hogwash. Just as stupid as when ALL OF THE SAME ANALYSTS said running qbs wouldn't make it or the option would fail or Kyler and Rusell can't play and blah blah blah blah.

  2. "Mike McCarthy has never had a top ten rushing attack"??? Idk Colin for a guy who has stated that they don't like stats you sure do use a lot of them out of context. Maybe he's never had a top ten rushing attack because he's never had a dominant running back? maybe it's the fact that his offense revolves around the QB? and the luxury of having both Bret Farve and Arron Rodgers gave you little incentive to focus on your running game.

  3. all these reporters are saying the same thing about mike mccarthy, but the one thing that they fail to hit on is the fact that he's had a year to reflect on past present and the future of football. he is perfectly able to help that team, we just haven't seen his new evolved offense and we shouldn't assume it is going to appear the same as green bays offense of 2018.

  4. I was damn near distraught when they hired him, but after delving into the guy some I'm feeling optimistic, honestly. I just remember him being lifeless and so boring w the offense, but that was at the end. He's actually put in a ton of work while off, especially towards understanding analytics. That alone makes me hopeful.

  5. Keep on being a tool, and keep on making your money. Shut your mouth please. Numbers, DNA, it doesn’t matter. Your analysis sucks. It doesn’t feel like you know what you’re talking about. After so long you know how to come up with things that sound good rather than the truth. Mike might be the best pickup for the Cowboys. Lol I’m glad I’m not this guy. Crazy crazy crazy!

  6. Usually I like Colin's analysis, but here I disagree. He is saying Dallas needs "sizzle". NOPE! They need another head coach like Jimmy or Parcells, who will cut/trade the non-performers and put the fear of God in the guys who survive the cut.

  7. This could prove to be a great hire. Time will tell, but it feels like Jerry hired a coach based on how the coach fits him more than how the coach fits the team. Jerry sees the Cowboys as a reflection of himself, and as a fan, that makes them hard to root for. It's not "America's Team" anymore. It's just Jerry's team, his train set in the basement.
